Millie Bobby Brown surprised fans as she unveiled her wax statue, styled as Enola Holmes, at London's iconicMadame Tussauds on Monday evening.

26 lucky fans, who won a competition to be the first to see the Enola statue were left stunned when the young actress appeared for the official unveiling.

The waxwork had aneerily uncanny likeness to the star, 20,who played the sleuth in two Netflixmovies, and delighted fans.

But while Millie's waxwork was extremely impressive, not all wax creations have been praised for their likeness to the celebrity in question.

As Millie's waxwork is unveiled, here MailOnline takes a look at the best and worst waxwork creations.

BEST WAXWORKS

Millie Bobby Brown

Millie surprised fans as she unveiled her wax statue, styled as Enola Holmes, at London's iconicMadame Tussauds this week.

The actress, 20, put on a very leggy display in a thigh-skimming mustard mini dress for the occasion, which boasted a plunging neckline and matching neck scarf.

Millie, who played the sleuth in two Netflix movies, put on a very animated display as she posed alongside herself in Victorian costume.

Millie first started work with Madame Tussauds in 2023 when artists visited her home in Atlanta as she posed for hundreds of precise measurements.

Steve Blackburn, General Manager at Madame Tussauds London said: 'Move over Sherlock – there's a new Holmes in Baker Street! It's been truly amazing to work with Millie Bobby Brown in bringing her much-loved character Enola Holmes to life'.

'We can see a lot of similarities between Millie and Enola; both represent smart, confident, and rebellious women challenging and defying societal norms – and are role models for a new generation'.

Millie's statute will be open to the public from July 19 when Madame Tussauds London opens it's newfilm and TV themed zone.

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum and Project Runway teamed up for an interactive exhibit at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in New York City in 2017.

One of the waxworks on display was Heidi, 51, who looked the exact same as the replica.

The waxwork was dressed in a white mini dress and thigh-high gold boots as the real model kissed the creation on the cheek.

Heidi said she was measured 200 times and photographed 150 times by the museum in preparation of her wax figure.

She said she loved that her wax 'figure has such a big smile. I think it captures me so nicely.'

'The Project Runway Experience is all about giving guests a behind-the-seams glimpse into the world of fashion and leaving them feeling inspired all while having unbeatable, interactive fun,' said Madame Tussauds New York General Manager Anna Domingo at the time.

Helen Mirren

In 2010 Dame Helen, then 64, came face to face with an very impressive waxwork at Madame Tussauds in London.

She was joined by her husband Taylor Hackford and feigned jealousy as the film director leaned in to kiss her lookalike.

She said: 'My husband wants to marry her; I'm much more argumentative than she is.'

The £150,000 wax model took four months to make and is dressed in a floor-length black Asprey dress previously worn by the Oscar-winning actress.

Mirren had been heavily involved in the creation process.

More than 300 measurements were made and a number of reference shots were taken of the star, who wore a floor-length black dress by Aspreyand black six-inch heels.

She donated the entire outfit, which she wore to the ITV3 Crime Thriller Awards in 2008.

Her figure stands in the A-List Party room - which is designed to make visitors feel like they have stepped into a celebrity party.

Ryan Reynolds

In 2013 Ryanimmortalised in wax and the results were pretty impressive.

The then 37-year-old star came face to face with his wax twin in Madame Tussauds in New Orleans, Louisiana.

For the big reveal, the star dressed almost identically to the fake Ryan wearing a three piece brown tweed suit with a white unbuttoned shirt.

The wax version of the Canadian actor wore a grey three piece suit with matching white open necked shirt.

Alison Hammond

Alison Hammond was left doing a double take an episode of This Morning in April 2024 as she was presented with a waxwork of herself.

The TV personality, 49, was presented with the model byDermot O'Leary, who declared, 'Are you ready for a double dose of the Hammond?' before the grand unveiling.

Impressed by the waxwork, which will feature inMadame Tussauds' Blackpool museum,Alison joked: 'I've always wanted to have a twin!' adding 'It's an honour.'

The mother-of-one was filmed during the making of the waxwork where she had various sittings to pose for the sculptors.

In a film about the creative process, Alison mused:'I can't tell you how much of an incredible experience that was, seeing myself. I know it's not got the colour yet, but honestly I cannot wait to see the finished product.'

On her first glance at the finished product, a gobsmacked Alison said: 'Oh my gosh! Shall I stand next to her?

'I can see myself from behind, it's so weird I can't tell you! I think she's more beautiful… What's it like having an Alison sandwich?'

Dermot replied: 'It's quite overwhelming I've got to be honest with you! I'm not sure I can handle more than one!'

Alison later said: 'Can I just say that the team at Madame Tussauds, they have worked so hard and you've done such a good job - I can't believe I'm looking at myself!

'Look at the lashes! Well go and see her, she is going to be in Blackpool, go and have a selfie with her, she's lovely!'

Timothée Chalamet

In May 2024 Timothée was another A-Lister recreated at London's Madame Tussauds, with his first ever wax work officially unveiled.

Continuing the attraction's legacy of immortalizing the evolution of Hollywood's standout talent throughout the decades, Timothée's is now on show.

The actor's figure arrived at the Baker Street attraction hot on the heels of the release of his latest blockbuster, Dune: Part Two.

His name is just as likely to be featured on best-dressed lists as it is on awards nominations, and Chalamet's new figure is no different.

Timothee chose his slick Alexander McQueen look from the London premiere of Dune in 2021 for his first Madame Tussauds figure.

The suit was donated by the design house and fans will swoon to know the look is completed with Chalamet's very own Alexander McQueen boots gifted to the attraction by the star himself.

Madame Tussauds London's expert artists took nine months to create the figure, including meticulously sculpting his chiseled cheekbones and painstakingly inserting each individual strand of hair to craft his trademark luscious curls.

Jo Kinsey, Studio Manager at Madame Tussauds London, said: 'Timothée Chalamet is an amazing talent and a wonder to watch on screen.

'But more than that, we chose to immortalise him because we feel he defines the new face of fame for Gen Z.

'Stylish, talented, and unafraid to show emotion off-screen, Chalamet challenges what it means to be a Hollywood leading man in 2024.

WORST WAXWORKS

Victoria Beckham

Victoria, 50, looks nothing like her waxwork which would give you a fright if you saw it in a darkened room.

It comes from the Louis Tussaud House of Wax Museum in Great Yarmouth, which has somewhat legendary status in the world of terrible waxworks.

She sports short cropped hair and facial features nothing like the Spice Girl.

Beyoncé

It takes hundreds of hours to make a wax figure, but there's no guarantee that the statue will be a hit with the public.

And in February 2024, followingthe release ofMadame Tussauds Blackpool's wax statue ofBeyoncé, angry members of the 42-year-old singer's fandom, known as the Beyhive, flocked to X (previously known as Twitter) tocriticize the museum's attempt at creating a life-size replica of the 32-time Grammy winner.

'Don't get me wrong the wax figure is pretty, but baby that ain't BEYONCE,' one wrote.'I need them to go get an actual picture of her or bring her there while y'all making it.'

A handful of social media users called out the wax figure for looking more like Leah Remini, 53, Tyra Banks, 50 orRihanna, 35, than the mother-of-three.

'If it didn't sayBeyoncé I would've said Leah [Remini] for sure,' one perplexed X user quipped.

In response to the growing number of comments suggesting the figure looked more likeRemini, one fan mused this was a 'huge win' for theKevin Can Wait actress.

Onefed-upBeyoncé fan asked why the wax figure museums always mess up her 'face every single time.'

Another wrote: 'They did Beyoncé dirty though.'

Still, some pointed out there has been progress made compared to other wax figures of the performer.

'I meanBeyoncé's new wax figure looks better than the last one, so just give credit where it's due,' one person said among all the complaints.

In 2017, a wax figure of the singer waspulled for looking 'whitewashed.'

At the time, many compared the statue to looking like Taylor Swift.

Lil Wayne

In October 2023 Lil Wayne did not hold back after a new wax figure of him was revealed at Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge,Tennessee.

The then 41-year-old rapper took to social media app X to share his thoughts on the replica after a photo went viral.

'Sorry wax museum but dat sh*t ain't me! You tried tho and I appreciate the effort,' he wrote online.

The model was complete with the Louisiana native's signature head of locked hair and his assortment of tattoos.

The imitation also featured a diamond-encrusted grill that was visible as the figure's mouth was molded into a wide smile.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson

Dwayne had a similar experience to Lil Wayne in 2023 with an unveiled wax figure of himself.

The actor, 52, took to social media to reveal he would be contacting The Musée Grévin in Paris after the controversial waxwork came under criticism from fans.

People were concerned about the statue's seemingly lighter skin tone, with the star noting that he would be asking for the skin color to be 'updated.'

He responded to the reveal in an Instagram post poking fun at the figure, but added that he would reach out to the museum to have the artwork tweaked with some 'important details and improvements.'

Dwayne reposted a video by comedian James Andre Jefferson Jr, who lightheartedly made fun of the replica.

He said: 'That's how Paris think he look. They turned The Rock into a pebble. It look like The Rock ain't never seen the sun a day in his life. Whoever the artist is don't need to do no type of art.'

Johnson, amused by the commentary, reshared the video and added a caption sharing his thoughts.

The Jumanji star wrote: 'I knew my boy @jamesjeffersonj had this Rock wax statue in his roasting crosshairs. Legit belly laughed at this.'

'For the record, I'm going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grevin Museum, in Paris France so we can work at "updating" my wax figure here with some important details and improvements - starting with my skin color,' he wrote online.

He went on, 'And next time I'm in Paris, I'll stop in and have a drink with myself,' adding a wink emoji.

The post, which has so far received over 183,000 likes, saw fans express their disappointment and confusion at the creation.

One fan wrote, 'Looks awful. No character to it at all,' while another said, 'They made The Rock look more like The Sourdough Loaf.'

Meryl Streep

In 2017 theHollywood Madame Tussauds location unveiled a redecorated wax statue of Meryl Streep, with one small hitch - it didn't really look like the actress at all.

The Streep statue was redressed in a gold gown the star wore at the Academy Awards in 2012, when she collected her third lifetime Oscar for her efforts in 2011's The Iron Lady (in which she played late British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher).
