What do you think is the difference between a horror film and a thriller?
With the release of Longlegs in theaters, the classic discussion of what classified a horror movie and a thriller has come up. While many critics have called it one of the scariest horror movies in recent years, many audience members seem to see the movie more as a thriller. In many ways, it is very similar to the discussion around Silence of the Lambs, which is often called the first horror movie to win the Academy Award for Best Picture, but others tend to classify it more as a thriller. Do you think there is a difference between a horror and a thriller movie, and if so, what do you think separates the two? Is there a movie that is often called a horror film you would classify more as a thriller or vice versa? Let us know what you think and what you would say is the best distinction between horror movies and thrillers.

Toy Story 5 vs Shrek 5: Which are you most excited for?
Summer 2026 is shaping up to be a major showdown from two of history's biggest computer-animated film franchises. Toy Story 5 will open on June 19, 2026, with Shrek 5 opening two weeks later on July 1, 2026. The last time the two series went head to head at the box office was in 2010 when Toy Story 3 beat Shrek the Fourth. Yet, with Shrek having been away for so long, is nostalgia for that greater than Toy Story? Or does the Pixar brand and Toy Story legacy carry more weight? Which film are you most excited about?

You’ve been put in charge of recasting The Flash for James Gunn’s DCU. Who do you choose?
You just so happen to win a once in a lifetime contest that grants you the power to choose any Hollywood actor (or actress) to fill the shoes of a soon to be premiering hero within James Gunn’s new DCU. Across the table from the new co-CEO of DC Studios, Gunn reveals to you that he’s planning to revitalize The Flash for his new comic book cinematic universe. He confides in you that while you are able to pick anybody, fan favorite actor Grant Gustin is too busy with the theater world at the moment to be brought in. If this decision somehow fell into my lap, I would want the role to go to Joe Keery. As Steve Harrington in Stranger Things, Keery shows he can balance a strong-willed personality with an emotional side. Plus, his transformation for season five of Fargo is much slicker and well-toned which could be well suited for a man who runs all the time. Who would you pick?

Do You Consider Keanu Reeves to Be an Amazing Actor or a Great Movie Star?
This can be a tough question considering the iconic actor has displayed his kind-natured soul plenty of times in the past. For instance, he has a secret foundation that continuously sends money to children’s hospitals every year. But given how his action roles (and/or stoner characters, see the Bill & Ted franchise) are shaped around his stiff presence (line delivery and physique), maybe Reeves has perfected the short science behind his role selection. If you want an example of character work not being his strong suit, just check out 1992’s Dracula where he tried being the brave hero against Gary Oldman’s monster. It just didn’t come across well - at all. But as stoic John Wick or the introverted Neo, Keanu Reeves certainly mesmerizes audiences all over the world. Which category would you put the actor in? I want to hear your opinions on this.

What was your favorite fast food movie tie-in?
One thing movie fans love as much as the films themselves is the marketing, specifically food tie-ins. From McDonald's Happy Meals to themed menus at restaurants, a movie's tie-in can sometimes make you more excited to see the film and sometimes be more memorable than the film. I will say that Denny's Fantastic Four-themed menu was better than the film itself, and I still have my Star Trek collectible glasses from Burger King when the reboot film came out in 2009. What are some great memories you have regarding fast-food movie tie-ins? What upcoming movies would you like to see get a food tie-in, and with what restaurant?
