Hampton Mary Jane "Sue" Cole, 75, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016. She was born in 1 940 in Martinsburg, WV and has been a Hampton resident for 70 years. She retired as a Head Calibration Technician atTeledyne Hastings in April of 2016 after 48 years of service. Savage, 79, native of York County and resident of Spring Grove for 53 years, was called home on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, James D. Savage; parents, David R. and Gaynell J. Osborne; sister, Lucy M.

At that time he felt God calling him into full-time ministry and turned the offer down and instead enrolled in Seminary.

It was at Moody Bible Institute he met his beloved "southern belle" Margaret. Ted's greatest joy was pointing others to Jesus not only in his profession but in his daily walk. His goal was to demonstrate the Heavenly Father's love in God's strength in all things. He would often say "It's our job to carry the cross of Jesus He loved to laugh and was able to laugh at his own idiosyncrasies. One of his greatest sources of joy was when his Seminary students would spoof him.

He loved being with his family and involved them in every aspect of his life. Those memories will be cherished always. He would want to be remembered as a Follower of his Lord and his Savior, for his leadership, laughter and love and that will be his legacy. Mabel Williamsburg Mabel Stepp passed away Nov. 6, 2016, in Consulate Health Care in Williamsburg. Born Aug. 30, 1921 in Gretna, VA, she moved to Hampton in 1941 and Williamsburg in 1993.
