Bergey and June A. Marshall and her husband, Mehin; two uncles, Anthony R. Smith and his wife, Sybil and Lloyd L. Hermes; also numerous cousins survive him. Joe loved fishing, nfanaia, photography, art, musk, old movies and automobiles.

Guedri businessman, dies BY JENIFER V. BUCKMAN Times-Dispatch Staff Writer Joseph B. Guedri greatest blessings came from a job he enjoyed and a close-knit family. Known since his childhood as "Boots," Mr. Guedri helped build a small Richmond electrical contracting firm, Northside Electric, into a business that employed more than 100 people.
"It has grown into a third-generation business and it gave us a nice life, but that nice life mostly came from just loving each other and having wonderful children," said Mary Guedri, who described her husband as a man who "liked to make people laugh and would build up a story to get an even bigger laugh." Mr. Guedri, who was 13 when he began working summers at Northside Electric as his father's helper, died Tuesday in Richmond at the age of 76. The company was founded by his father, Joseph and partner A.L. Greene in 1937 and operated out of a succession of locations in Highland Park and West Broad Street until 1987. That year, Mr.
Guedri and his then-business partner, Robert Rosen-baum, relocated the business to Magnolia Street Mr. Guedri retired about five years later. Today, two of his four sons work there. In its infancy, Northside Electric specialized in residential work, taking advantage of a post-World War II building boom. However, the company later worked mostly with commercial SEWARD Nancy Kohl Seward, 78, of Richmond died Wednesday, November 5, 2003.
She was the widow of Thomas J. Seward and is survived by her son, William K. Mr. Guedri was a former member of the board of Benedictine High School and was heavily involved in athletic programs there throughout his life. He attended the University of Richmond and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
