To become a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Connecticut, complete the following:

At this time registration is not required. The live online calendar has access links located on the Course Home page under the Course Materials section.

What if I attended the session but missed, let’s say 1 hour as an example. Can I make up the 1 hour the next time that session is offered, or do I have to make up the full session?

You will need to make-up the entire session – partial credit is not awarded. You must be in attendance throughout the entire session with cameras on to meet the seat time requirement and receive credit

How do I get credit for attending a live online class?

Upon satisfactory completion of a live online session, that section is marked in the course as having been successfully completed within 2-3 business days of you attending the class.

What can I expect from a live online class?

Each course session includes a minimum of 50 minutes of content delivery per hour of content. Up to 10 minutes of break time will be provided per hour of content delivery. You will be required to interact directly with the instructor throughout the course using a Zoom meeting. You cannot be in a vehicle at any time during the session. The following hardware and software are required:

  • Reliable internet access;
  • Video camera enabled 100% of the time in the Live Online course session;
  • Microphone access;
  • Audio access; and
  • Zoom testing is strongly recommended.

Is there a limit to the number of live online class sessions that I can take?

You can attend all the live online sessions. If you have already attended a session, you can attend it again. You will not receive additional credit. There is no limit.

If I take a section live online, do I still have to take exams for that part of the course?

Students will have access to the Unit Exams after the section is marked complete. They should be able to retake the exam as many times as they want. Content covered in these sections is included in the final course exam and we strongly encourage that you take the unit level exams even if only as practice.

How far in advance should I arrive at my live online sessions?

Plan on arriving at least 15-30 minutes early for the check-in process. The class will start promptly at the scheduled time and late arrivals will not be admitted.

How do I check my Zoom connection?

Here is the Zoom test hyperlink: Zoom test link. Ensure that you have reliable internet in a distraction free area for the duration of the course. A webcam, microphone, and access to Zoom are required.

How does the instructor/moderator know who I am when I access my live online course?

Update your name on the device you are using when you access the zoom meeting. Use the name you registered with on your account with The CE Shop.

Is it ok that I take a phone call during the Zoom meeting?

No, this would be considered multi-tasking. Stay focused. Participation in the live course session is expected, including live interaction as required by the instructor.
